he's loosely based on the bishop don "magic" juan. When we lived in L.A., he'd sometimes come in to the local post office. You could always tell he was there, because in the parking lot would be a glittery green bentley, with bright orange letters bearing his name. Mack of the year fo sho.

thanks, I had never heard of VBU before, but I like their anti-rasterization stance, and their previous contest galleries have some really cool stuff in them.

it's easy. browse contests. this contest is VBU contest 9, so there are 8 previous ones. there is some neato abstract stuff in 8.

Well thanks for the tip...I will certainly look into it. I was gonna tell you that I was at a loss for a "good" idea for the unofficial contest you had going. The it came to me yesterday. So I went back to the contest rules and realized that i missed the deadline :(...But I will submit it anyway and send you a link to it. :) I wasn't really wanting a prize...I just think it was cool of you to create a character and allow others to have fun with it:)

Well i got paranoid after I realized i would have to give out my real name and address. Now if say you were to draw something for me...something not too time consuming...as a prize... I think that would be good enough.
